Eversource Transmission Line Expansion Update-

 

All of the SEC transcripts are complete and available on the town website but we are still waiting for the final written SEC decision and reasoning behind it..  Once the town attorneys receive that they will be able to determine what action to recommend.  We expect the SEC decision to be issued in early February.

 

In the meantime the Selectmen have charged the town attorneys with review of the meeting transcripts.

 

The Selectmen and Denis Hebert welcome any questions at any time.  These can be forwarded to mroy@townofnewingtonnh.com and she will forward them to whomever you address the e-mail to.

 

The Selectmen plan to have a public hearing as soon as the above information and analysis have been completed.  We will send out an informational mailer to all residences outlining the issues as well.

 

Denis Hebert is available, as the Town’s point person for this matter, to discuss concerns with any resident.  His home number is  431-0587.   He has stated that residents are welcome to call with questions.
