The Board of Fire Engineers oversee the operation of the Newington Fire Department. The Engineers' functions are guided by NH RSA 154. Members of the three member board each serve a three-year elected term.

Meetings are generally held at the Fire Station on the second Tuesday of the month. In order to place business on the Commission's agenda, forward a written request to Fire Chief Roy Greenleaf.
